Reservations
Reservations
are always required and are critical during our busy season (May through
September). Like any good hotel, we will take your credit card number when
you reserve space. During busy times, we are often booked full and are
turning away potential customers; therefore we reserve the right to charge your
card for one night if you do not show and do not cancel your reservation 36
hours in advance of your reserved arrival date.
Check-in/Check-out
Check-in and check-out times are at your convenience within the shop’s daily
hours of operation.
On your first visit, plan
to allow a bit of extra time for check-in. We will ask that you sign our
Customer Agreement at that time and we will keep the agreement on file for
future visits. You may review the Customer Agreement in advance by

Holiday
High Season Policy
Our Holiday High Season Policies are intended to ensure equitable treatment to
all customers, to ensure that those who really
need our services have access to them, and to ensure that we do not end up with
empty space due to last minute cancellations.
The November and December
Holiday High Season is a challenging time at The Cat House Hotel™! We
have much more demand than we can fulfill, and of course for us to lease a larger
facility to add space that would be used only during the Holiday High
Season would be prohibitively expensive. We require a 4-night minimum
stay for each holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and are usually
completely booked by the first of November. In addition, we charge a $3
per cat per night premium during the "High Season" dates from November 16
through January 7.
Once we are fully booked,
we maintain a wait list. Once waitlisted, a potential customer will begin to look for other boarding options. So we
establish
"last dates to cancel" prior to the actual holidays.
The last date to cancel reservations for the Thanksgiving
2007 holiday period is Monday, November 12, 2007 at 6 P.M. The last date to
cancel for the Christmas/New Year holiday is Monday, December 10, 2007 at 6 P.M. If a booked
customer cancels after our "last date to cancel", we try to resell the space to
someone on the wait list, but the closer the holiday time the cancellation
occurs, the more difficult it is for us to fill that space with clients who have
by that time made other arrangements. Consequently, we must have require valid credit
cards to secure all reservations - once the
"last date to cancel" has passed, if a customer cancels and we cannot resell the
space, we charge the full amount of the cancelled reservation to
the canceling customer's credit card. Your signature on our customer
contract confirms your agreement with our policy. This policy ensures that we can provide
loving cat care service to those customers who
truly desire it and discourages people who use us as a "hedge" while they look
for other alternatives.
